The relationship between Bit-Wizards and Kentico continues to grow as we become the first partner to attain Windows Azure Competency. To qualify for this competency, a Kentico CMS Gold partner must complete three or more Kentico CMS Azure implementations and successfully pass the Kentico Azure knowledge test with a minimum score of 80 percent. Bit-Wizards has now successfully deployed eleven Kentico CMS websites to Azure including the first Kentico-based e-commerce website.
The Kentico Azure Partner Competency provides Kentico CMS customers the opportunity to recognize partners based on expertise in delivering Kentico CMS driven websites into Microsoft’s cloud.
“Cloud computing is an important evolution for the industry. The extensibility of Kentico CMS coupled with our deep understanding of the Windows Azure technology makes the two an ideal fit,” said Vince Mayfield, CEO and Founder of Bit-Wizards.
Bit-Wizards worked with Kentico to launch the first websites to the Azure platform and develop a deployment process that would become part of the competency exam.
This is the second time in the past year Bit-Wizards has been recognized first for work with Kentico. In October, 2010, Bryan Soltis, a senior software engineer with Bit-Wizards, was selected as the first Kentico Most Valuable Professional (MVP) developer in America.
“Our goal is to allow a customer to immediately identify a Kentico CMS Gold Partner that has experience in delivering a key technology like Microsoft Windows Azure,” said Petr Palas, CEO and founder of Kentico CMS, “We are introducing Windows Azure as our first competency given the increased customer demand and to ensure that our customers receive the best value for their enterprise cloud implementations.”
