Bit-Wizards Makes List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies for Third Consecutive Year

For the past five years, Inc. Magazine published the top 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America in its annual September Inc. 500|5000 issue. For the third consecutive year, Bit-Wizards has been named to this list. For 2011, the leading provider of custom software solutions in the Southeast was ranked at number 3870 with three-year sales growth of 36 percent.

In a stagnant economic environment, median growth rate of 2011 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 94 percent. The companies on this year’s list report having created 350,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $366 billion, up 14 percent from last year.

The 2011 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2007 to 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2010. The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue.
