As a Bit-Wizards Infrastructure Engineer, you will work with other IT professionals of the highest caliber to find perfect solutions for each client and your team. This position is full-time and in-house at our office in beautiful Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Involvement in various aspects and phases of architecting, designing, and implementing solutions in IT infrastructure; on-premises, cloud, and hybrid. This will include pre-sales engineering to discuss client problems and form a plan to find and implement a solution. After winning projects, it will be time to do the work, delegate tasks to other IT professionals and collaborate with the team to ensure the success of the client. Other miscellaneous tasks, errands, and travel may be required on occasion. Both experience and education are considered with qualification.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional work experience; both experience and education are considered for qualification
A minimum of 3 years' experience in SharePoint on-premises and SharePoint Online
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in infrastructure and technology environments
Possess effective consulting skills and positive customer service experience
Must be a team player who takes ownership or projects and drives them through to completion thoroughly and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills; verbal and written. Must be detail oriented and well organized
Attends both internal and external training events, as well as being dedicated toward developing oneself through learning new technologies and processes by staying current in the ever-changing field of infrastructure technology
Providing Support with IT operations
Designing, deploying, administering, and maintaining SharePoint environments
Automating IT operations through PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.
Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019 administration and management
Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 installation, troubleshooting and maintenance
Experience with managed services (MSP) environments
Network administration; configuration and administration of routers, switches, wireless access points and network attached storage
Email administration; Exchange Server and Office 365 management
Provide holistic support for IT operations; Install, troubleshoot, and deploy software, remote management of devices, plan infrastructure upgrades
Collaboration with other business departments to complete projects
