Do you have what it takes? We are seeking to add a talented Senior Solution Consultant to our team, and are considering local and remote candidates for this position.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate and qualify new sales opportunities

  • Generate and develop new customer accounts and strategic partnerships, as well as nurture existing relationships

  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in our products and services

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns and offerings

  • Understand customer needs and requirements

  • Achieve quarterly quotas

  • Develop, maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory

  • Track all sales activities within company provided Customer Relation Management (CRM) system

  • Travel to client/prospective client sites, conferences, seminars, or other travel as required

  • Perform professional presentations of company services

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in solution sales, lead generation, qualifying leads, etcetera

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • A background in architecture and development in a software engineering capacity

  • Strategic sales capabilities which support selling to C-Level prospects

  • History of consistent success in achieving sales goals

  • Experience in networking for lead generation and relationship management

  • Demonstrated prospecting and negotiation skills

  • Be a quota-driven self-starter, and able to work within a strong team culture

  • Superior knowledge of accessing and utilizing the internet and Microsoft Office programs/tools

  • Ability to build strong rapport, establish trust and credibility through a consultative sales approach

  • Effective time management for successful sales performance

  • Ability to effectively telecommute and travel for meetings and lead generation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional listening skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

 

Bonus Skills

If you have these the following experience/skills, you're a cut above the rest and have earned yourself some bonus points!

  • Have experience selling services - high preference given to those selling custom software solutions
  • Have existing relationships with CAM and CTM accounts in the region, and Microsoft Account Managers
  • Have experience in selling the Microsoft product stack or other technical sales


*This position offers a base salary, plus commissions.
