Biography

Dane Wilbur is a Quality Assurance Manager at Bit-Wizards. A true Floridian, he was born near Tampa but has spent most of his life living in the Fort Walton Beach area. Always curious growing up, Dane would spend most of his time reading books and asking too many questions. He developed a love for technology in third grade when his parents brought home their first computer. Dane graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School in 2008, where he played trumpet in the marching band and was part of the theater and improv department.

Before coming to Bit-Wizard's, Dane worked for over ten years at a certain Irish pub. While there, he wore many hats, eventually making his way into bartending in 2015. With most of his professional experience in the hospitality and service industry, he has developed a strong set of interpersonal skills, learning how important effective communication is to customer satisfaction. On top of that, he can also make you a mean cocktail. After years in the service industry, Dane knew he wanted to search for different opportunities and chances for growth, eventually discovering Bit-Wizard's and becoming part of the team.

Full of useless knowledge, Dane can be spotted at your local pub trivia night. He enjoys playing guitar and pretending to play the keyboard. He loves to play any board or card game and sometimes is that overly competitive player. On Sundays, Dane likes to watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and commissions a fantasy football league with his childhood friends. Dane could have breakfast and coffee for every meal, and he spends most of his free time with his girlfriend and Soulja Boy, his Olde English Bulldog.
