Biography

Simone grew up in the small beach town of Gulf Breeze, Florida. Her love of reading, writing and storytelling led her to study Communications and Editing, Writing & Media at Florida State University. During her time at FSU, she was required to complete a summer internship, and what better place to work than by the beach? Simone decided to go home to intern with the local ABC News affiliate in Pensacola, where her love of journalism began.

Simone ended up staying with Channel 3 News after graduation. As a producer, she took on many roles in the newsroom. Her commitment to alerting, empowering, and protecting the community was unmatched. Above all, she was always striving to advocate for the voiceless and deliver content in new, unique ways. By telling other’s stories through several unprecedented events, including devastating hurricanes and a pandemic, Simone learned that a “job” is so much more than a place of employment.  

Simone’s passion for storytelling and developing content across a variety of industries is what brought her to Bit-Wizards (well that, and the fact that it is still close to the beach)! When she is not at the office or out on the water, she loves spending time with family, going out to brunch, and grooming her insanely fluffy cat.
