Biography

Caroline developed an interest in technology at a young age. It was sparked by her Grandfather working in the Test Equipment Division at Texas Instruments and her father working in Network Administration & Project Management in the US Air Force. In high school, she was in the inaugural class of the Okaloosa County Technology Academy. Caroline also spent four years in the FL-51 JROTC at Fort Walton Beach High School, serving as Corps Commander her senior year.

Caroline attended the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After receiving her B.A., Caroline moved to Wisconsin to attend Marquette University Law School and worked as a Legal Assistant at a family law firm. She quickly realized that snow boots and icy roads were not where this self-proclaimed Florida girl belonged and moved back to Florida.

In 2007, Caroline accepted a position at the Economic Development Council (EDC) of Okaloosa County and moved into the Director of Business Expansion position in 2013. In 2018, Caroline received the Certified Economic Developer designation. During her time at the EDC, her main focus was to help existing businesses in their expansion opportunities, which is where she first interacted with the Bit-Wizards team. After 12 years in the non-profit world, Caroline jumped at the chance to become a Wizard in 2019.

Caroline serves on the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center Women's Advisory Council and as a mentor in Take Stock in Children Okaloosa. Due to Caroline being an Air Force brat, she was born and raised all over the world. She now calls Florida her home and resides in Navarre with her husband, Allen, and two daughters.
Caroline enjoys all forms of crafting from painting and creating custom decals to sewing and making tumblers. You can always find loads of glitter in her workshop. She is also a hairbow fanatic and has collected over 1,000 handmade bows made by small businesses, which she proudly displays at home.
