Biography

Massen was born and raised in the charming small town of Demnate, Morocco. Growing up in this picturesque locale, Massen developed a strong foundation and a love for learning. After completing high school, he moved to the vibrant city of Marrakech to pursue higher education. Enrolled in a physics program, Massen dedicated their time and effort to mastering the subject. Upon earning a bachelor’s degree, his hard work paid off with acceptance into a specialized master’s program.

After successfully completing his master’s program, Massen embarked on a new adventure by moving to New York. This move marked a significant milestone in his life, opening up new opportunities and experiences. Adjusting to a different culture, he took on the challenge of learning English and enrolling in college to pursue a major that had always been a passion.

From a young age, Massen was fascinated by computers, spending countless hours playing and modifying games, especially soccer games like Pro Evolution Soccer (PES). This passion extended to building forums and experimenting with programming. Massen was introduced to C++ during college in Morocco and used it for various science projects. Upon arriving in the USA, he took programming more seriously, leveraging knowledge of JavaScript and core programming concepts to dive into iOS app development inspired by the Apple ecosystem.

After a few months of dedicated learning, Massen landed the first job as a Junior iOS Developer. This role provided invaluable experience, but the highlight of his career so far has been working on a project with Blue Cross Blue Shield. As part of the team that built the app from the ground up and released it to the store, Massen received excellent feedback, and the team won an internal award for being the best engineering team in the organization.

Massen is the eldest of four siblings, with two younger brothers and a sister. As the older son, he has always been a guiding figure and a source of support for the family. Massen’s influence on his younger brother led him to follow in his footsteps and become a lead full-stack developer in Morocco.
