2020 Pensacola Advertising Federation ADDY Awards Winners

For the eleventh consecutive year, the magic at Bit-Wizards shone bright at the 2020 ADDY Awards. Each year, the American Advertising Federation (AAF) hosts a three-tiered national competition that begins at a regional level. Gold-winning awards get advanced to the higher level of competition.

Bit-Wizards has been proudly competed (and won) in the AAF’s annual competition since 2009 ( 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). Each year, our submissions include both internal marketing projects, external client campaigns, and pro-bono projects. Over the past eleven years, the Bit-Wizards team has won 64 awards, including four Silver District 4 ADDY awards.

This year, our team proudly brought home a total of 19 awards, including five Gold ADDYs, eleven Silver ADDYs, and all three Judge’s Choice Awards. We are honored to have won an award for every single video entry that we submitted this year and swept all the professional Judge’s Awards.

Congratulations to our talented team, and cheers to another year of amazing creative work. We look forward to seeing what is in store for 2021.

What is an ADDY Award?

The American Advertising Awards are the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting nearly 35,000 entries every year in local American Ad Federation (AAF) competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards is to “recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence” in the art of advertising.

Conducted annually by the AAF, the local tier is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, across the country, local entrants vie to receive an ADDY Award giving them the recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards.

Winning Teams

This year, three of our departments were recognized in the awards won. Our Digital Marketing department celebrated alongside members of the Software Engineering and Front-End Development teams.
