Kentico CMS will be hosting their 3rd annual Kentico Connections next month. After the inaugural 2010 conference in Prague, Kentico expanded the event to Denver to reach even more partners and customers. Kentico has a site dedicated to both the Denver and Prague conferences with detailed schedules, venue information, and speaker bios.
This year I will be speaking at both conferences on “Migrating Existing Web Applications to Kentico CMS.” The session will focus on the process of porting an existing site to Kentico with tips along the way to provide a smooth transition and avoid pitfalls. I’ll do my best to get as much useful info into the presentation and pass along my personal experiences in moving sites to Kentico CMS.
The topics include:
- Site design
- Data migration
- Integration
- Configuration
- Whatever else i can fit in the time!
One of my favorite parts of the conference is the “Ask the Experts” event. It’s a fantastic way to get 1 on 1 time with Kentico experts and discuss YOUR site and YOUR issues. I’ll be an expert again this year on Azure and cloud development and would love to talk to you about your sites in Windows Azure.
Tip
If you haven’t attended a Kentico Connection before, you can check out my recap from last year’s Denver Connection
here.
I hope you can make it to one of the events to take advantage of the great info that Kentico provides. The Connections are a fantastic way to meet members of the Kentico team, get answers to your development and business questions, and connect with partners from around the world. This year’s focus will be Kentico v7.0 and leveraging the great features in the new version. It's definitely one of the best Kentico resources available and you will learn a ton!
Hope to see you there!
