Best Marketing Content Websites - These 6 Are Killing It

Where do you go for the best marketing content? Everyone needs to keep up with best practices, and just plain old “Help I am looking for answers.” type info. Well, I go to the following websites and resources. They are tried and true, and I love them all. I hope some of them will help you out. Let’s get to it!

Gary Vaynerchuck

If you are serious about what you do in life for a profession, no matter what it is, Gary Vaynerchuck is pure inspiration. He is an entrepreneur who not only tells it like it is, he lives it. Gary is killing it on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and yes, even SnapChat!

Where to Start?

Just watch one episode of the AskGaryVee YouTube series and you will be hooked. Then, mosey on over to all his other media platforms and subscribe, like, and follow him… trust me you won’t be able to help yourself.

Ann Handley

Recognized by ForbesWomen as one of the top 20 women bloggers Ann Handley is freaking awesome! With pure perfection, she weaves her blog posts and hooks you in with those ever-so-thoughtfully polished headlines - Ann Handley. As Chief Content Officer, for MarketingProfs.com Ann Handley is a highly accomplished writer. She has posted on Entrepreneur Magazine, LinkedIn, Influencer program, Huffington Post, American Express OPEN Forum, and Mashable.

Where to Start?

Just read one of her very inspiring blogs. You'll know what to do next!

MarketingProfs

MarketingProfs.com has been around for quite a number of years. Providing a long-standing blog, online and in-person events, and marketing training out the wazoo, marketing profs is a reliable and trusted source of useful marketing information. Below are some of my recent favorites from Marketing Profs.

Email Marketing Insights: Budget and Tactic Trends [Infographic]
2Q16 Email Deliverability Benchmarks
Mobile Web vs. Apps vs. Native SMS: Tips for Mobile Engagement Success

Where to Start?

Again I say, check out their blog feed. If one of those headlines doesn’t work for you, head over to their discussion forum and see what is happening real time.

HubSpot & The Growth Show

I would be remiss if I didn’t list HubSpot in this blog. Of all the resources out there Hubspot is one of the most well-known and loved marketing blogs. However, you may not know about one of their more hidden resources: The Growth Show Podcast I just recently started listening to this interview-style podcast for executives and entrepreneurs. The host, Kipp Bodner explores topics such as The Neuroscience of Unforgettable Content, The Power of Knowing Your Weaknesses, and What If Everything in the World was Connected. The show's guests range from the Former Chief Talent Officer at Netflix, Patty McCord to the founder of charity: water, Scott Harrison. Listening to the experience-based insight from the interviewees is like being mentored each week by someone you would never get the chance to meet, let alone gather valuable advice from face-to-face.

Wistia

If you are a marketer, you better be doing some form of video and if you are doing video, you should be reading (and watching) the Wistia blog! Not only is Wistia an incredible video hosing platform for businesses, but they are also producing some of the most valuable content out there today on creating video for businesses. Do yourself a huge favor and check out their blog, and get involved in their community.

Seth Godin

If you don’t know who Seth Godin is, well then maybe think about a new career, and not in marketing (lol, j/k)! One of my all-time favorites, Seth Godin has written 18 (yes, 18) books and has a daily blog that not only makes you think, but it also makes you think! Seth was recently inducted into the Direct Marketing Hall of Fame in 2013, and when I sent him and email once thanking him for writing Tribes, he replied, personally. What a guy!

Where to Start?

I highly suggest subscribing to his blog and then purchasing his latest book: What to Do When It's Your Turn (and it's Always Your Turn)

There You Have It

My favorite marketing and business content resources and sure, there are many great places to find content on the interwebs, but I have to say, these lead the pack. What are some of your favs? Let me know below in the comments or reach out on Twitter: @candiemitchell.
