What Does a Kentico Website Cost?

We've kept it simple!

It is necessary to understand that Kentico sites are not just static pages. They are dynamic web applications, and dynamic web applications require design, development, and testing. Depending on your business needs, the cost of Kentico websites can vary widely. It varies depending on the size, and ultimately, the complexity of your website.  So, what does a Kentico website cost? To keep it simple, I am going to break the cost categories down into three types of sites: Standard, Medium, and Large.

The Standard Kentico Website

A standard corporate website built in Kentico with a custom design starts at about $50,000. The cost will vary depending on the information architecture, level of graphic design required, types of content, and features you want for the site. This website has 5-10 page templates and custom widgets.

The Medium Kentico Website

A medium corporate website built in Kentico costs between $100,000 - $200,000. These sites may include simple e-commerce, basic integrations with third-party systems, the configuration of enterprise marketing features, and more advanced social media integrations. This website typically has 10-20 page templates and custom widgets.

The Large Kentico Website

A large corporate website built in Kentico can start at $200,000 and go up from there. This website has significant custom integrations with third-party systems, real-time data synchronization, significant digital marketing customizations, and specialized functionality. This type of site typically has 20+ page templates and custom widgets.

The Extras

To provide a quick overview and fundamental insight into what it costs to build a Kentico website, I have kept this simple on purpose. I have chosen not to include options such as micro-sites or landing pages that are much simpler, easier to develop, and typically cost less. I also have not included additional services such as content migration, content development, digital marketing, or maintenance and support. Those types of services are usually coupled with your initial website build, but not part of this particular blog.

No matter what your website needs are, when you go to your technology and marketing partner, make sure you understand what your business goals are, and with that, they can come up with the most cost-effective way to deliver your desired outcome.
