Modern web development almost always requires integrating with a Content Management System (CMS) to enable content editors to maintain their own web sites or web applications. These CMS integrations often limit the developer or require them to use obsolete languages and development frameworks. Kentico 12 was developed to fix that developer-marketer disconnect by allowing developers to use modern .NET Model-View-Controller (MVC) technology. MVC is a well-documented development technique that empowers both developers and marketers by separating development concerns and simplifying the architecture when develop applications at scale.
