Sit right back and you’ll hear a tale, not of a fateful trip, but a one filled with great food, friends, and fireworks.
This three-hour tour left
Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin last Thursday with way more than five passengers, including our own Bryan Soltis and his wife Valerie on the dinner and dance cruise ship, Solaris. What a great way to spice up a presentation on data storage and recovery!
The Teklinks-sponsored cruise provided the twenty-plus attendees with abundant opportunities to mix with local business leaders, gain insightful knowledge from the EMC Storage Appliance presentation — and feast on steak and shrimp! Some of the attendees included Ken Machuta and Chris Rowland from Teklinks (and their “pig” mascot), and Cameron Rowe from CRC Data Technologies.
But the surprise of the evening came when the Solaris dropped anchor in the Destin East Pass just in time for the Thursday evening fireworks display at
Harbor Walk Village. As most people already know, Bit-Wizards is all about relationships, and we really appreciate Teklinks for sponsoring this event.
