Hooking Texas with a Focused Sales Team

As announced in 2013, Bit-Wizards opened an office in Austin, Texas. To support the sales efforts in that area, we brought on seasoned veteran, Tom Emerson.

Vince Mayfield, CEO"Tom is part of our ongoing investment in Texas and the Microsoft Central Region and part of our plan to accelerate growth. Tom comes to us with a deep background in enterprise sales and we are excited he chose to join the Bit-Wizards Team."

- Vince Mayfield, CEO of Bit-Wizards.

Tom’s professional career began at Dell Computer selling 286 machines to small businesses. PC manufacturer CompuAdd then recruited Tom to develop relationships with Fortune 500 companies in NY and the surrounding territory.  While at CompuAdd, and after many key wins Tom was asked to manage a 30-member sales team focusing on mid-sized companies.  Shortly thereafter, Tom was invited to join what was then one of the largest memory manufacturers in the nation as a Director of New Products tasked with creating a product portfolio ancillary to their existing customer’s needs.  Once that project was complete, Aries Research hired Tom as their VP of Sales responsible for delivering custom Sun SPARC based solutions to Value Added Resellers, Telecom, Government Agencies, and DOD based Government Integrators. Recently, Tom co-founded a web-based education startup and serves on the Board of Directors.

Over the years I have worked with and consulted for a variety of technology companies that offer a wide range of services. None of those experiences prepared me for the level of overall competency, expertise, and passion that I have seen since joining the Bit-Wizards team. There are many rich centers of business activity in the State of Texas that include Austin, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Antonio. As a local “Ambassador of Texas” for Bit-Wizards, I am excited to present a very high quality option to businesses large and small for their software and application development, Kentico development, software integration, and cloud infrastructure needs.”

- Tom Emerson, Senior Solution Sales Consultant
