Jacob S. Siegal
Software Test Engineer
Jacob Siegal is a Software Test Engineer at Bit-Wizards. A local through and through, all he knows is the Florida panhandle. He was born in Pensacola but has spent the majority of his life in the Fort Walton Beach area. Growing up, Jacob’s life revolved around sports and being part of a team. He was a member of the football and weightlifting teams at Fort Walton Beach High School and graduated from FWBHS in 2016. He then volunteered as a coach for the FWBHS football team post graduation. He is currently working on a business marketing degree from the University of West Florida.
Biography
Before life brought Jacob to Bit-Wizards, he spent over six years in the restaurant industry climbing the position ladder from the ground up. He worked as a busser all the way to the bartender/assistant manager at Rockin’ Tacos on The Boardwalk of Okaloosa Island. It was there where he valued interpersonal relationships with his customers and enjoyed chatting with people with from all walks of life. In search of structure and a family style work environment, Jacob eventually came across Bit-Wizards, and he was excited to join the team.
As a true fanatic, Jacob can be found shouting at a television set on the weekends, rooting for his favorite sports teams. He will then bore you with statistics and the college/hometown background of each player. He is a strong competitor, and even if he is playing checkers with his Nana, he will not go down without a fight. Jacob loves spending most of his free time with close family, typically around his grandfather’s bar, and with his closest friends from high school.
