Director of IT

Brian has loved technology from an early age. He was always taking things apart and usually putting them back together again. Brian attended Niceville High School before going to the best college in Florida—the University of Florida—where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.

Biography

From an early age, Brian has loved computers and had always gravitated toward technology. He spent time constantly taking things apart and, usually, putting them back together again. Brian comes from a military family, and they moved here from Albuquerque, New Mexico, when he was very young. He attended Niceville High School and then went to the best college in Florida, the University of Florida, to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering. 
 
After graduating college, Brian landed a job working for a government contractor whose primary focus was supporting the information technology within the Okaloosa County School District. He started out doing Desktop Support before transitioning to the Remote Desktop team, where he was responsible for managing software deployments and configuration baselines for all the workstations. From there, he started administering Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager(SCCM), and Google G Suites. Although Brian is an experienced Systems Administrator, he enjoys making everyday processes more efficient by utilizing automation of tasks through PowerShell and other management tools such as SCCM, and Microsoft InTune.
 
Outside of work, you can usually find Brian having a ball outdoors with his family. He enjoys shooting skeet and sporting clays. One of their favorite Summer getaways is hiking the Great Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. They enjoy kayaking, swimming, and even just taking a bike ride around their neighborhood.
 
Brian decided to join the Managed IT Services (MITS) team at Bit-Wizards because of the apparent growth, the valued employees, and because Bit-Wizards is continuously looking to the future and keeping a finger on the pulse of technology.
