Biography

Jessica grew up in two worlds creating the strange mess of an awkward human she is today. Born in Stockholm to an American Fighter Pilot and a Swedish Nurse Practitioner (and as the youngest of three), she was guaranteed to never have a dull moment in life.

Jessica began her business career young, starting a snow cone and lemonade stand – a classic – but after two years in business, the government demanded she start paying taxes. Her parents were laughing for about a week straight. Shortly afterward, she started taking on stage manager positions with local theater troops, as well as at her school, leading her to be the youngest stage manager at all locations.

At seventeen, Jessica finished high school and returned to the region of Småland to pursue a Bachelor of Science in International Management & Economics. She also accidently got minors in finance and marketing. While there, she was elected to serve on the student board, running all the student events for her school, and occasionally helping the engineering school. She ended up learning many random skills during that time in an attempt to just get things done. These ranged from website management to being a car mechanic, and at times, a linguist. Post university, Jessica worked in Stockholm for several years, taking every class and learning opportunity she could.

Jessica’s family has always been a mix of science and arts. Her dad is an engineer but also a craftsman; her mom a nurse and an acrylic artist; her brother a mathematician yet a blacksmith; and her sister a writer and painter. With this background and support, Jessica has always loved the balance of creative and analytical, and that is what brought her to Bit Wizards as a Marketing Data Analyst.
Jessica also has a strange fascination with rocks. You’ll have to ask her about that one.
