Bit-Wizards and TalkingParents are honored to announce they have been named to Florida Trend’s Best Companies To Work For list, ranking No. 3 in the best small company category and No. 8 in the best medium company category, respectively.
The annual Best Companies To Work For In Florida list, featured in the August issue of Florida Trend magazine, ranks companies in small, medium, and large employer categories.
This recognition marks 17 consecutive years for Bit-Wizards and three consecutive years for TalkingParents. More importantly, it signifies the pride these teams take in embracing the culture and core values their CEO, Vince Mayfield, has fostered. With more than 25 years of business experience, Mayfield’s people-first approach has built strong companies and an ethos their customers continue to benefit from.
These are special companies because of the people in them. Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to grow and celebrate success through our team’s hard work, and it’s always been a priority for us to recognize those efforts. Part of acknowledging that is creating a workplace where they embrace collaborating, learning, and achieving the mission every day.
Earning this recognition year after year isn’t a happy accident. It’s a testament to the intentional culture we engineered and continue to strengthen. When someone joins Bit-Wizards and TalkingParents, they become part of a team with shared values, enthusiasm, and genuine care for one another. Every person here plays a part in shaping what these organizations represent and what we feel inside this building.

To participate, companies or government entities were required to have at least 15 workers in Florida and to be in operation for at least one year. Companies that chose to participate underwent an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
