Bit-Wizards is proud to announce that the
City of Crestview, Florida, has chosen Bit-Wizards as a trusted technology partner.
The City of Crestview received its charter from the Florida Legislature and was officially incorporated in 1916. The City's name was chosen because it is located on the peak of a long woodland range between the Yellow and Shoal rivers, which flow almost parallel on the east and west side of the City. After Okaloosa County was formed by the State Legislature in 1915, from portions of western Walton County and eastern Santa Rosa County, Crestview became the County Seat in 1917 and remains so today.
Because of the continual security risks businesses face today, the need to maintain the security of networks is a constant concern for all companies. New
City Manager, Tim Bolduc has brought to light needed improvements for the City's IT network. Bit-Wizards has managed the City's Microsoft licensing for several years, and so, when they decided to improve their IT infrastructure, Bit-Wizards was their obvious choice.
The Bit-Wizards
Managed IT Services Team (MITS) will work alongside the City of Crestview's single IT employee to overhaul their entire IT network, which includes 45 workstations and five servers across seven locations. Today, many businesses this size do not have any IT resources; in this case, Bit-Wizards is excited to work with the City to optimize and maintain the network in an efficient manner moving forward.
