Bit-Wizards Wins Three ADDY® Awards for 2012

Bit-Wizards, a leading provider of software solutions and consulting in the United States, is pleased to announce they received three ADDY® Awards at the 2012 AAF Emerald Coast awards gala. This is the third year in a row Bit-Wizards has been awarded an ADDY®. For 2012, the Bit-Wizards design team took home one silver ADDY® in the B-to-B Website category and two silver ADDYs® in the self-promotion category.

"Our focus has always been our clients’ business goals with solutions that work and look great," said Bit-Wizards co-founder and CEO Vince Mayfield. "Each year we walk away with more ADDYs® than the previous year which I believe says we are doing a pretty good job for our clients. I’m extremely proud of the entire Bit-Wizards design team."

Lead web developer, Steve Adams, was awarded a Silver ADDY® for his role in design and development of the website for Certified Manufacturing, Inc., a Holt, Florida defense and commercial electronics firm. The website is built on the Kentico CMS platform with Microsoft .NET technology and is hosted in the Cloud on Windows Azure.

Steve, who has been a designer since 2006, was also recognized with a Silver ADDY® for his Bit-Wizards Summer Picnic email invitation design, the first win in the self-promotion category for Bit-Wizards.

The other Silver ADDY® for work in self-promotion went to web developer JD Compton for his video production work in the “Journey To The Cloud” webisode. Bit-Wizards was an early adopter of Microsoft’s Window Azure cloud offering and, as a result, has gained national exposure for their work including being selected as one of the first Azure Circle partners. Bit-Wizards was the subject of a Microsoft case study on which the “Journey To The Cloud” video was based. JD’s work on the video involved many hours of directing, camera work, and production.

The ADDY® Awards is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY® competitions. The mission of the ADDY® competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising. Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local ADDY® Awards is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie for recognition as the very best in their markets.
