Learn SharePoint Branding with Steve Adams at SharePoint Saturday

With more than 6 years’ experience designing web-based solutions and websites, Steven Adams is a natural fit for integrating an organization’s brand into SharePoint.

This passion for good design and user experience will be on display when Steve presents SharePoint Branding: An Overview of Best Practices and Pitfalls at SharePoint Saturday in Atlanta, Georgia on June 2nd.

SharePoint Saturday is a free, community-focused SharePoint learning event dedicated to educating and engaging members of the local SharePoint community. SharePoint Saturday draws upon the expertise of local SharePoint IT professionals, developers, architects, and users who come together to share real world experiences, lessons learned, best practices, and general knowledge with others.

Microsoft SharePoint is a powerful content and collaboration system that requires knowledge of a few key items in order to complete a successful branding project. In his session, Steve will overview the best practices for branding a SharePoint implementation and also highlight some of the key pitfalls that can negatively impact your project’s overall success. Steve will illustrate how to brand a basic SharePoint implementation from start to finish using Photoshop, Custom Master Pages, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), jQuery, and page layouts.

SharePoint Saturday is open to the public and anyone interested in growing their knowledge about SharePoint and should register!

The 2012 SharePoint Saturday Atlanta will be held on the campus of Georgia State University.
