Traditionally, Bit-Wizards’ service offering served the national business community with application development, digital marketing, and cloud infrastructure offerings. Since launching the Managed IT Service pillar of their business, the company’s presence in the local community has grown and expanded providing a proprietary Managed IT Service (MITS) to local (and national) businesses of any size.
The local growth of their business has offered opportunities to contribute to local organizations such as the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of which Bit-Wizards is an annual sponsor.
In support of the local community's non-profit organizations, Bit-Wizards recently built a website for the ZT Motors Football Camp Event, and just recently a site for the Kings of the Court Charity Basketball Tournament. Read about other organizations supported by Bit-Wizards throughout the years.
This year at the Fort Walton Beach Chamber's Annual Installment Breakfast, Bill Roberts of Barnes Insurance & Financial Services and Chair of the Board at the Chamber, awarded Bit-Wizards' CEO and COO the annual award of Corporate Business of the Year.
We are deeply humbled and so very grateful to be awarded the 2017 Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce Corporate Business of the Year. There are so many deserving companies that work hard to make an impact in our community. Thank you to our fellow chamber members, the board of directors, and the staff at the chamber. We at Bit-Wizards appreciate the greatness you see in our company and in all the Wizards on our team. Our Wizards deserve all the credit for this award. It is their hard work and dedication that make our customers and our community successful.
-Vincent Mayfield, CEO
In late 90’s the FWB Chamber membership levels starting cresting the 500 or so businesses and as such the Board of Directors determined that the annual installment meeting would be a great venue to recognize lead volunteers and community leaders.
Therefore one of the highlights for the outgoing Chair of the board is to nominate these award winners. This Business of the Year selection process takes into consideration their involvement not only in the Chamber but also the Community.
Along with the Corporate Business of the Year Award, Congressman Matt Gatez awarded Bit-Wizards a Special Congressional Recognition "in recognition of outstanding and invaluable service to the community."
