Alberto C. Medeiros
Principal Software Architect
As a child, Alberto was always fascinated by technology. He began coding at the age of 10 when he asked his father how websites were made. Alberto taught himself basic HTML and created silly web pages for his toys, friends, and family. As time progressed, he kept coding as a hobby for a variety of different things such as creating custom mods and scripts for PC games. After deciding against being a biology major, he decided to pursue his hobby and became a Software Engineer major at the University of West Florida.
Biography
While taking courses at The University of West Florida, Alberto teamed up with a classmate to create a mobile application for a delivery company. This project proved to be a success and was his entry into the world of creating custom software for clients.
In 2015, Alberto participated in a STEM summer camp as an instructor for video game development. Over the course of multiple weeks, he helped middle school and high school students learn the basics of Unity development, and worked with them to create their own custom games.
In early 2016, Alberto became a Computer Science tutor for the Hal Marcus Science & Engineering building at the University of West Florida. He assisted multiple students with a variety of coding issues that they encountered during their coursework.
Alberto was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and moved to America at the age of five. He loves music and plays piano, guitar, and drums in his spare time (And is currently learning how to play the violin).
